Michelle started working at Adorable Pets (California) in 1969. In 1974 the business was sold in California and Michelle opened a new Adorable Pets in Knoxville, TN. That was where and when Michelle began her love of the art of pet grooming.

She began showing Standard Poodles, Collies and Shetland Sheepdogs in 1981. She also showed a few other breeds for clients. Before she knew it, she had over 100 trophies in her trophy room.

Michelle also started competing at grooming contests and dog obedience competitions.

In 1989 Michelle became the first National Certified Master Groomer in TN. Michelle passed all of her testing with an average score of 96.5!

Michelle now resides locally in FL and has a family of Toy Poodles, a Standard Poodle and a Chihuahua / Lhasa mix. She also has two Macaws, a Mexican Red Head Amazon, two Cockatoos and an Eclectus. She also has two cats!
